Soda Bread Yum Ü

I made the the soda/beer bread a coupleof weeks ago and servedit with the spinach dip. It was huge success!!!

I used orange soda and it had an orange tint and you could taste a little bit of orange flavor as well. This is a no brainer. If I can make it anybody can.... seriously.

Talk About Delicious!

I have a vendors booth at a really nice indoor air conditioned fleamarket. I made some low sugar peach scones to take, but, I didn't go that weekend so Me, Myself, I and rosco and angel ate them. EMM EMM GOOD! I had forgotten to order the clotted cream that CGH carries and I didn't have any jam so I mixed a little cinnammon in butter with an equal packet and it was really good. I am not a baker so when something I attempt to bake turns out good I have to brag!!!

Things Are Popping For Country Gourmet Home...

"Wow!" Is all I can say about this gourmet mix business called Country Gourmet Home! What an amazing year the company, the consultants, and, their customers are having. The company is literally busting at the seams with amazing gourmet food mixes, "You need to get on board"career opportunities, and, the best customer service in the direct sales industry. Of course this would not be at all possible without the dedication and committment by it's owners Amy & Shane Pitcher and their two great sons.
Not only is Country Gourmet Home growing by leaps and bounds it is also getting a facelift! Ü
CGH has a brand new new look on the website. It's crisp and clean, trendy and now branded by a truly creative design. As a web designer I say Kudo's!!!!
I can't say enough about the consultant family we have. Everyday consultants are joining and everyone helps everyone. We are a family where evebody knows your name...(it helps to have names with photos.) lol
Now...all this being said the most important thing to know is that no matter how many consultants join, no manner how many customers we gain, Country Gourmet Home will always be a small family owned and operated company by Shane and Amy Pitcher, and, that is what makes us all a part of a great opportunity that you could be apart of.

Having a Happy Sad Day...

As moms we always want the best for our kids no matter how old they are. God Blessed me with one son, one that I am so proud of and honored to be his mom. If I had just one advice to give to parents of younger children, that would be to love them and cherish every single moment you have with them because they grow up and start their own life's journey.

I am also a proud Army Mom. My son has served in the 82nd Airborne Division at Ft Bragg, NC for almost 8 years. He is with the 2/325 White Falcons the only Brigade  to be called an Airborne Infantry Regiment because of the gliders that were used by the Brigade in WWII.

He left early this morning while I was still asleep to go to Ft.Jackson, SC for Drill Sgt. School
I've been staying with him since moving back to NC from TN. He's been deployed to Iraq 3 times. His longest stay was 15 months and one deployment to Haiti. I can tell you last night mom had tears not looking forward to this morning. He had clothes in the dryer so before I went to bed I folded his clothes, made sure his Powerade was next to his clothes and this morning I found a note he had propped up where I sit and work on my computer. "Thanks Mom.... Lov ya, Chris. Yes I tried to hold back the tears... It will never matter how old your kids get; they will always be your little boy or girl.Ü

The Happy part of my day is looking forward to finishing my booth at the Flea Market! I will post pics tomorrow.

So Excited!

Yesterday we started moving my flea market booth to my new location. It's open on 2 sides and it is such a better layout and should get more traffic because when the people come in they automatically go to the right and my booth will be the second one.

We have made it to look like a cafe and gift shop. One of the vendors (Ann) had a display case for sale like something you would use for a check out register. It's tall enough that I can easily do my demonstrations with. I have a small fridge on a cart and a microwave and toaster/convection oven to the right of it on a really nice wooden cart. I'm putting the showcase in front of that so I can demo there and turn around easily to get what ever I need. I will set up a bakers rack to hold my samples on and can easily serve them to my customers from there.

I am setting up 2 ice cream parlor tables with 2 chairs so they can sample the samples and look over the catalog and place an order or buy from what I have in my inventory.

It's going to be amazing. I should have it finished by Thursday and will post pics of it on Friday!
